Grant Nigolian is the Principal of Grant Nigolian Professional Corporation. An experienced business litigator, he represents corporate and individual clients in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels. His extensive litigation experience includes a broad range of legal and business issues that arise from contract disputes, shareholder disputes, franchise disputes, fraud, unfair business practices, intellectual property infringement, employment/labor disputes, lease and licensing disputes, trade secrets, anti-trust statutes, real estate disputes and securities fraud. As part of his commercial practice, he negotiates commercial equipment leases and the sale of goods. His transactional experience includes the forming of business entities and partnerships, as well as the drafting and negotiating of a variety of business agreements.

Mr. Nigolian's experience also includes defending employers in state courts, federal courts and administrative agencies, in cases alleging claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful discharge, violations of wage and hour statutes and the enforcement of covenants not to compete. Mr. Nigolian's article, "Clarifications of California's New Law Requiring Sexual Harassment Training," was reprinted for the May issue of the Management Association of Illinois' HR Expertise for a Practical World.

Prior to founding Grant Nigolian, P.C., Mr. Nigolian was Partner and chaired the Litigation Department at the Los Angeles offices of Masuda, Funai, Eifert & Mitchell, Ltd. from 2004-2011. Mr. Nigolian represents some of the most established and successful businesses and executives worldwide. Clients regularly turn to Mr. Nigolian for his valuable legal advice as well as his comprehensive and innovative business insight.

As an advocate, Mr. Nigolian has an outstanding record of success, winning many cases at trial and appellate court levels and resolving others brought against his clients with minimal or no settlement payments and, whenever possible, guiding clients to alternative dispute resolutions. In the past ten years, Mr. Nigolian has won several dismissals in his cases, including many matters involving franchise disputes, contract disputes and employment/labor disputes..

Mr. Nigolian is admitted to practice law in California and Colorado, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Southern and Northern Districts of California.

Mr. Nigolian received his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1996 and his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1992, where he earned dual majors in Business/Economics and Political Science/International Relations.

Mr. Nigolian is also an appointed member to the Franchise Law Committee of the California State Bar's Business Law Section. Mr. Nigolian is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association and the Irvine Chamber of Commerce.
